All tunes were played on Jeffries GD Anglo.
| Wiggle Woggle Jig is
a tune written by the Laughing Policeman Composer. A fun little tune
taken from some old 20's and 30's music recorded for me. This was
the first tune on the recording played on a Xylophone |
| Trumpet and air Classical
by Purcell (some think by Jeremiah Clark) whoever wrote it may not
like this version as a hop step. I hope you do! |
| Rondeau Played a little fast for
dancing to here, however, a tune that once started is difficult to
stop playing as it's very addictive. |

Super Mario Brothers
Ashley, my nephew came to stay with us over Christmas few years
ago and one of his presents was a Super Mario Brother for the Gameboy.
This little tune heard constantly for the period of his stay. From
morning 'till night. The trouble was, that when he left I just had
to play it on my concertina. A superb tune for Circassion Circle

| Lemmy Brazil's No

step tune. |

Half a cigar My old
time friend Jim Farr and Iused to perform musical monologues and
this little waltz was played as a background to the monologue. The
first paragraph goes;
"I've found a cigar leastways half a cigar, it's only a stub
but it's there. Not a bad sort of find when you're down on your
luck, it'll last twenty minutes with care.

| Gentianne Mazurka
One of my old time favorite French tunes. Just about every French
musician has played this mazurka with the waltz taken from a record
made by Gentianne about ten years ago. |
| Fubu Waltz This tune was
probably influential in me playing (and members of Rosbif) French
music. When appearing in a folk concert at Ris Oranges (Nr Paris)
Fubu followed us on stage about one o'clock in the morning. This tune
was played on two hurdy gurdies and through a drunken haze at about
three o'clock in the morning, this was fantastic! A very unusual waltz
rythm. |
| Chasse is my current favourite.
Since hearing this on the session I recorded at The George Inn. Played
by part of the group called Meridian it was a tune that I have played
ever since. It has very unusual timing. |
| Auntie
Ada and Jean's Waltz When my untie Ada diedshe was such a lovely
lady I decided to write her a little tune. Her sister Jean (my Mother)
died a year later and I thought it would be nice to put these tunes
together. |
| Astleys Ride Traditional
English country dance tune. One of my all time favourites. |
| Alan Day Scottische
Written for having fun with. Originally written to go with another
tune but included here for you to trad-jazz it up! |
